Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 2026-05-15
Our commitment
Mesquite Development is committed to making mesquitedev.com accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is treated as a quality bar on every site and app we build for clients, and we hold our own site to the same standard.
Measures we take
- Accessibility considered at the design system and component level.
- Automated testing with Lighthouse and axe-core on every release.
- Manual keyboard and screen reader checks on key flows.
- Reduced-motion preference respected for animations.
- Skip-to-content link and semantic HTML landmarks across all pages.
- Color contrast targets reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds.
Conformance status
Most of the site conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Areas where we are still improving:
- Some decorative animations on the home page use scroll-triggered motion. We respect the operating system reduced-motion preference, but if you experience an issue please contact us.
- Embedded third-party widgets (Cloudflare Turnstile, Cal.com booking) inherit their own accessibility characteristics. We test the embeds and report issues upstream when they fall short.
Feedback and complaints
If you find an accessibility barrier on this site, please tell us. We aim to respond within three business days and to fix verified issues as soon as practical.

Compatibility
The site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and screen readers (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android). It relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. Some features may not work as expected if JavaScript is disabled.
Standard
This statement is aligned with WCAG 2.2 Level AA (ISO/IEC 40500:2025) and with the technical requirements of the European Accessibility Act (EN 301 549) where applicable. We will update it as the site evolves and as standards change.
